M&Ms

M&Ms being the primary reward for going potty has led to some interesting observations. One is a chicken and egg question. Two days ago Marie asked to see the bag of M&Ms, and 30 seconds later declared that she had to go potty. Did she really have to go potty, or did seeing the M&Ms bring on the urge to go?
Yesterday I started forcing her to go in the kid's potty because she kept saying she had to pee in the "big potty" and then requesting an M&M. Problem was, I couldn't tell if she actually peed. I became suspicious that she figured out how to get free M&Ms.
The other dilemma - and both girls have figured this one out - is what to do when they pee and poop in a single sitting. Their math is good enough to know that 2+1 = 3 M&Ms. They vigorously object when you try to shortchange them with only two!
