Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Grandma and Grandpa were in town over July 4th. Grandpa was kind enough to arrive with a new instrument set, including drum, cymbals, trumpet, etc.

On Monday night we went to the Twins-Orioles game. The girls spent most of the night asking when they'd get to sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame. Naturally, with one out in the top of the 7th, they both declared that they had to go potty. Mom scored major points by getting them out of the bathroom just in time to sing along from the concourse.

Their other focal point was popcorn. Unfortunately the concessions were all closed by the time mom went looking for popcorn in the 9th. On the way out, their aunt was kind enough to point out a closed stand with popcorn covering the floor and said, "Look at all that popcorn that went to waste!"

I gave them popcorn yesterday to make up for it.
