On Sunday night, the girls were wired and didn't want to go to bed after a day of playing with their cousins in Nebraska (more on that later). I had to tell them several times - with rapidly decreasing patience - to stop talking and go to sleep.
On Monday morning, Etta woke up from a 12-hour sleep, sat up in bed, looked at me and said, "NOW can I talk dad?"
