Tuesday's return trip meant waking up at 4:15 AM for an ungodly early direct flight home. They both fell asleep in the car on the 15 minute ride home from the airport, undoubtedly setting a record for earliest nap time.

The real fun came when they woke up at 1 PM after a 3 hour nap.

Marie: Is it time for school? "No, school is tomorrow. It's time to get up from your nap. We have spaghetti for you downstairs."

Marie: For breakfast?

"No, for lunch."

Etta: Where are we going now?

"Nowhere. You get to stay home and play with mommy."

This is proof that jetlag affects toddlers too.

This weekend: potty training. The crash course, no underwear, 'whatever happens, happens' kind of potty training. Stay tuned.
